Take a step up into the hills north of Chiang Mai in Thailand. We are located in the province of Chiang Rai, on the edge of the Khun Chae National Park (www.dnp.go.th) The Limeleaf eco Lodge is perched high above the valley, on the fringe of a temperate virgin forest at 1100 meters above sea level.
It is a self-contained, ecological, wooden lodge with a traditional thatched roof, solar power (for limited lighting, charging cameras, laptops etc.) fresh mountain spring water, wood fire cooking and a fantastic view looking over a terraced hillside farmed by the Black Lahu (Mhuser) hill tribe. We had a fantastic time dancing and celebrating for the spirits at "Doi Muht" Ant Mountain. (Limeleaf lodge's nearest Lahu village) for "Kho Jouw We"(Lahu New Year) Thanks to all who helped make it so memorable.

Thanks to everyone who came to the Lime Leaf Lodge for our Christmas trek and New Year festivities. We look forward to seeing you again.
We offer galley training that will provide you with the culinary skills and practical knowledge to cook aboard a yacht and to manage a galley at sea.
We are also creating a practical forum for chefs to gain Thai/Asian cooking instruction and to exchange Western cooking knowledge and skills in in a non-teaching environment.
Limeleaf Kitchen will be opening in January 2013.
